We have had two crews in over the past 3 days and both have been excellent. Charles Miko and his roofing crew were consummate professionals and very detail oriented down to cleanup as they went along. No nails left over to find. They have far exceeded our expectation over what we saw done at our neighbors who used a different company. Everyone including closest neighbor were happy with the crew, taking care not to hurt their property or plantings which are very close to us. Every step was explained and re-explained as necessary. We would highly recommend the roofing work to anyone and have. Our neighbors wish they had had Gutterman now.
Today we had new 6" gutters installed with helmets and Amilcar and Javier were able to explain and improve on the gutters to better protect our home. We couldn't be more pleased. Gutters down and new one up with this two man crew of professionals.

About 10 years ago, we purchased and had installed some 2-3 hundred feet of KGuard Gutters from Gutterman Services. They did an outstanding job of installation and cleanup of our previous gutters. They have proven to be outstanding even all these years. Moreover, Gutterman has been excellent in routine inspections every few years, including checking our roof and fireplace flashing. We've noticed that there is little turnover of staff there and thus these people really know what they're doing. Moreover, I've spoken to some of the staff and they all sound genuinely very happy to work there. This and other things I've read in the media about the family company, which goes way back to humble gutter cleaning services but has grown significantly since then, are markers of excellent management of the business. We've also made use of their hi-pressure water-cleaning services for our patio furniture with excellent results. If we required other services, e.g., solar attic fans, patio cleaning, roofing services, etc., Gutterman would be my first choice. I have posted recommendations for them on our 1100-home neighborhood civic association, and to others. Can't recommend them too highly.

“The company replaced all of the old gutters and downspouts on our split level home with K-Guard seamless gutters. The old gutters were the do-it-yourself big-box store variety and had been installed by a previous homeowner. They weren't pitched correctly and sagged in the middle, which caused water to simply overflow the sides of the gutters during rainstorms. Also, I had installed a number of 3-ft wire screens on them to keep the leaves out and these were difficult to maintain. I bit the bullet and went for the high end K-guard gutters from Gutterman Services. From the people answering the phones to the installers, the company is very professional. I made an appointment for an estimate which was confirmed in writing by mail. The estimator (JC) arrived on-time and went through the various options. The K-guard gutters weren't that much more expensive than their standard large diameter gutters and he offered a $200 discount, so I opted for those because we have lots of trees near our home. The bilingual installation crew was excellent and worked hard. I dropped in on them during installation and the crew chief (Walter) explained a problem area where the gutter on the screened porch was lower than the one on the main roof and that an additional downspout would be required for the porch, whereupon I authorized the additional work. Cleanup was excellent and there was virtually no trace of the operation on the lawn or driveway when done. I had spread out a tarp to protect some landscaping rocks from debris, and when done, they had picked up and folded the tarp. The new gutters look great and perform as advertised. I would recommend this company to others.”

“They were on time, very professional, worked very methodically and thoughtfully. They suggested a different way to running one downspout that was going from the 2nd story roof gutter above the front porch into the first story downspout. It was both more effective and also much better looking from the street, as it hid that downspout. No additional charge was incurred. They cleaned up every little nail and scrap of old gutter, and hauled that old gutters away. Then they made sure we looked at every part of the installation before they had us sign off on the work. The men were very polite and very considerate of the fact that we had dogs that needed to go out in the fenced-in back yard a few times a day, so they made sure the fence gates were closed. Great to work with.

Description of work: We had them replace all of our gutters and downspouts with their K-Guard Leaf-Free Covered Gutter. One run of about 40 linear feet was 3 stories up.”
