Wood/Cedar Roofing

A number of homeowners in our neighborhood have replaced their roofs. They selected a variety of options. We carefully considered those options and more, narrowed them down, obtained three estimate, and ultimately selected Gutterman Services. We have a cedar shake roof and replacing it was not inexpensive. Gutterman Services was not the lowest priced. We chose the Gutterman team nevertheless because we were convinced they would deliver the high quality result we were looking for. They delivered just that.

From the beginning, the Gutterman team was thoroughly professional, efficient, and courteous. We met initially and several times thereafter with Jorge Rodriguez-Sawao to consider the options. There was no high-pressure sales approach. Jorge carefully and completely explained our options and invited us to the Gutterman shop to take a closer look at the products available and to meet the team members. He stayed involved in the project throughout, regularly appearing on site to check on the work and to ensure that we were satisfied.

I can't say enough about the Field Operations Manager, Tony Riggs, who led the team on this project from the beginning of the work through the last inspection. Tony kept the team on track doing high quality work continually and lended his expert hand to critical work where needed. Ours was not Tony's only project and he was truly impressive in balancing competing time demands and leading and motivating his team to do the best job.

We also appreciated the attention of the owner of the company, Chris Pauly, who was available whenever questions arose and personally visited the work site to see how his team was doing.

The new cedar shake roof on our home is a major investment. The work was superb and the final result a beautiful upgrade. And we have a 50-year warranty on the cedar shakes and a 15-year n the workmanship.

For us, this was money well-spent
