Michael began driving go-karts competitively at the age of 8 at Allsports Grand Prix where he won a track championship. Michael won the track championship in the Bandolero Division at Shenandoah Speedway in 2011 and was also named the Bandolero Rookie of the Year. Michael aspires to earn a degree in Motorsports Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is determined to fulfill his life’s dream of a career in NASCAR. in his free time Michael plays piano and has been a key member of an Odyssey of the Mind team, competing at Regional, State and World levels.
